With the motto of “We Are Not Job-Seekers, We Are Job-Givers—Turning Unemployment into Entrepreneurship” the 6th annual Social Business Day organized by Yunus Centre held on May 28, 2015 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), Dhaka.

The event was hosted by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. More than 1600 participants, among them over 250 international participants from 30 countries attended the program.

One of the major partners Grameen Shakti Samajik Byabosha Ltd. (GSSBL) also participated the event spontaneously.

In the first plenary session, there was one of our entrepreneurs Rezwana Rahim Monika, a lady who has been struggling very much in her life. She has brought a remarkable change in her badly suffered life. She has now a tailoring shop and her business is running very well now.

In the panel session of Nobin Udyokta, there were two entrepreneurs from GSSBL. They were Jannatul Afrin and Shohagi Alam Nupur. Afrin makes dresses and designs them on her own. Shohagi has a varieties store. She sells various types of goods in her store.

Besides, in this event, there was arranged a fair for the entrepreneurs. The fair was nicely decorated like a village fair to attract the participants.
