[NEWS_IMAGE] On Sunday, February 16, 2014, the Managing Director of Grameen Telecom Trust, Ms. Parveen Mahmud FCA signed investment agreements with 19 Nobin Udyoktas (New Entrepreneurs). These aspiring entrepreneurs are all children of Grameen Bank borrowers who plan to start new businesses or scale up existing ones. Grameen Telecom Trust under its Nobin Udyokta Program is providing assistance to them through investments and other ancillary services. The aim is to establish the youth as entrepreneurs who will be self employed and beyond self employment will create job for others. Under Nobin Udyokta, Grameen Telecom Trust has expanded its investment scope in different sectors such as livestock, telecom & IT support, general retail, clothing, crafts etc.
