Grameen Trust (GT) organized a 'Screening Camp' at Shahrail Union Parishad Hall room under Manikganj Anchal on September 27, 2018. A total of hundred sixty potential new entrepreneurs(NEs) who participated at this screening camp are women. The event was chaired by Mr. Abdul Hai Khan, Managing Director of Grameen Trust. Mr. Mir Hossain Chowdhury, Deputy General Manager of Grameen Trust, S.M. Shahidul Haque, Anchal Prodhan, Ms. Shamminaz Sobhan, Executive of Grameen Trust and Mr. Murad Matubbar,Unit Incharge of Shahrail Unit were also attendance on the occasion.
During the screening camp, GT participants depicted the evaluation of Nobin Program and discussed the definition of New Entrepreneur and explained the different aspects of Nobin Program.
Later on the day, a 'social business design lab' only for women new entrepreneurs was held. Fifteen women entrepreneurs presented their business proposals during the lab and fourteen of them were unanimously approved. The businesses of these potential entrepreneurs include, dairy farm and tailoring. GT has approved US$ 8313 as equity investment to 14 businesses.
