The 18th Nobin Udyokta Screening Exercise Lab of Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) was held in Birogonj, Dinajpur on 5 October, 2016. It was organized at the Base Mitaly auditorium with Two Hundred and Seven Teen (217) participants. It was conducted by the team of Social Business of GTT, lead by K.M. Saleheen (Manager, SB coordinator, Grameen Telecom Trust) and supported by Md. Anwar Hossain (Officer, Social Business, Grameen Telecom Trust). Md.Mainuddin, panel Officer, Mr. Md Rurul Amin, Unit In charge, Thakurgoan sadar and Mr Shazib Kumer Sarker, Unit In charge, Birgonj.Dinajpur of GTT were also present there.
Screening Exercise Lab is the first stage of indentifying Nobin Udyokta-NU (New Entrepreneur). It’s a day long group interactive exercise aiming to spread the message of the objectives of GTT, the idea of Social Business and the details of the Nobin Udyokta Program (NUP) among aspiring entrepreneurs, followed by group discussions and question-answers session.
Nobin Udyokta Program is established by Grameen Telecom Trust (GTT) with a vision to encourage new entrepreneurs all over Bangladesh who would generate employment rather than being just an employee. The program is curbed to children of Grameen Bank members only, aged between 18-35 years and special flexibility for women, who thrive to be an entrepreneur
