The Grand final of the 4^th edition of the Social Business Creation Competition organized by HEC Montreal took place on 30 September 2019. The global competition is a training platform for student with an avid interest in Social Business.

Congratulations to the winning team!

2019's winning teams are:

First - Turbodega (Management tools for small grocers in emerging countries to help them track their daily sales in real time), from McGill University.
Second - Mom&Me Care (Integrated services that support women along their life journey during their reproductive age period), from CFVG universty in Vietnam.
Third - Mworks (Construction of sustainable houses based on chemical compounds from recycled synthetic polymers), from Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico.

Runner ups:

Algoméga (Sustainable culture of microalgae rich in oils and nutrients with high value added for human and animal nutrition, with a particular concern on environmental protection) from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières – Canada
DANDESI (Monitoring system for wounds in diabetic patients through a biodegradable band with healing properties) from Universidad Veracruzana – Mexico
SORBOJOYA (Low-cost sanitary napkins using indigenous materials), from Daffodil International University – Bangladesh
Sotej (Platform to encourage entrepreneurship in rural areas) from Daffodil International University – Bangladesh
