Project Idea
The project is based on creating much needed economic opportunities for poor women.
Poor women are trained to produce Omanian Caps (to be exported) to add to their household incomes.
Primary Objective
Ensuring the ‘best price’ of Omanian Caps for the producers (poor women)
Impact
Rise in monthly household income (from BDT 2,400 to BDT 4,000) through production of 4 caps/month
Lives of more than 2,500 people will be improved
Half yearly eye care check ups for producers by project partner

GTT adopted the idea with guidance from Professor Muhammad Yunus as the first SB Project under its
