Objective:
- Train the women to produce high quality jute bags and handicraft items
- Bring them back to a normal life through safe income generation activities and respectable wages
- Supply the jute bags and handicraft items made out of date leaves to local and international markets
Project Status:
Project Bondhu has visited the proposed project site in Jessore and has held talks with the locals. They have asserted that the proposed social business would help create employment opportunities and hence rehabilitate those who had previously engaged in illegal practices.
