With the motto of ‘Turning unemployment into entrepreneurship’ Grameen Trust (GT) has supported 336 Nobin Udyoktas (NUs) with the investment of Tk. 59,565,000 (USD 763,653) until August 2015. The 16th Internal Social Business Design Lab (ISBDL) of GT chaired by Mr. Ehsanul Bari, Managing Director of Grameen Krishi Foundation was held on  August 31, 2015 to appraise the project proposals presented by the NUs. Sixteen proposals were presented during the Lab of which all of them were approved. Three more ‘review project proposals’ from the 15th ISBDL were also approved during the session. Total amount of approved investment against these nineteen proposals is Tk. 2,610,000 (USD 33,461). The businesses of the projects include service & transportation, handicraft & cottage Industry, shop & business & factory.
