With the motto of ‘Turning unemployment into entrepreneurship’ Grameen Trust (GT) has supported 362 NobinUdyoktas (NUs) with the investment of Tk. 63,245,000 (USD 810,833) until 17 September 2015. The 17th Internal Social Business Design Lab (ISBDL) of GT chaired by Mr. Ehsanul Bari, Managing Director of GrameenKrishi Foundation was held on September 16, 2015 to appraise the project proposals presented by the NUs. Twenty six proposals were presented during the Lab of which one proposal was sent for revision. Total amount of approved investment against these twenty five proposals is Tk. 35, 80,000 (USD 45,897). The businesses of the projects include service & transportation, shop, business, dairy and fisheries.
