Fig: Greetings for Queen Sofia

[NEWS_IMAGE] HM Queen Sofia is one of the most impressive human beings I ever met. She is an  amazing person with deep human qualities. She is keenly interested in the people.  particularly the women, who are by-passed by our societies.  Her feelings for them are genuine  and uncompromising. She goes out to be on their side whenever she gets an opportunity.  She shows her keen interest in all the details of their lives. She readily  gets engaged with their lives. She befriends people who never could dream of coming close to a royalty.

I had the privilege of accompanying HM in many villages in many countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Wherever she went she made sure women she met do not see her as a celebrity,  instead see her as a  friend and discuss their problems openly as between two close friends.

She has great ability to remember names and faces and the issues she discussed with them. She never slowed down on her campaign to make sure she brings  hope to the women who find it difficult to see any hope.

I extend my greetings on her 75th birthday and wish her a long life  helping bring happiness to millions more.
