Yunus Social Business Centre (YCSB@UKM), Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP) in the collaboration with Pusat CITRA Universiti, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) held a Public Lecture Series on May 2017 at Chancellor Hall, UKM. The Public Lecture 2/2017 was organized for a subject of Fundamental of Entrepreneurship and Innovation which the intention to promote the innovative of social business ideas among students. This public lecture was discussed on theme of 'Zero Poverty through Job Creation' by Chief Executive Officer of MyHarapan Nurfarini Daing in front of some 4,000 UKM students.

The main objectives of the public lecture is to help those students to explore and expose on social business ideas in Malaysia specifically. in other hand, the ideas that came from variety of studntes were help in solving the issues and problems that exist in society through the business branch. They were introduced with a major thrust in social business, and help them to develop and form the potential of social entrepreneurship in the industry. Based on what they learned, they are able to build the competitiveness and strength in business principles. With the complete knowledge and experience from entrepreneurial skills, industrial skills and human capital skills in entrepreneurship, most of the will success in identify, build, manage and grow businesses through a systematic social business model.
