Grameen Trust (GT) reached 5,234 Nobin projects in its 195th Internal Social Business Design Lab (ISBDL) held on November 23, 2017. The Design Lab was chaired by Mr. Abdul Hai Khan, Managing Director, Grameen Trust where twenty one proposals were presented by the potential new entrepreneurs. All proposals were approved by the committee of the Design Lab.
Till November 23, 2017, GT has approved 5,234 Nobin projects with the equity investment of BDT 47,36,60,000 (USD 5,995,696.20). The business of the projects includes shop, livestock and fisheries, cottage industry, business, service and transportation, etc. Among 5,234 Nobin projects, Grameen Trust has approved investment to 166 female new entrepreneurs.
