Grameen Trust (GT) reached 8,020 New Entrepreneurs in its 411st Executive Design Lab (EDL) held on December 17, 2018 at Faridpur Sadar Unit under Faridpur Anchal. The Design Lab was chaired by Mr. Shamsul Arefin, Anchal Prodhan, Faridpur Anchal. A total of fourteen proposals were presented by the potential new entrepreneurs and all the proposals were unanimously approved during the Lab.
Till December 17, 2018, GT has approved 8,020 Nobin projects with the equity investment of BDT 61,97,45,000 (USD 7,466,807.22). The businesses of these projects include shopkeeping , fisheries & livestock, handicraft & cottage industry, micro business, service & transportation. Among 8,020 New Entrepreneurs, 1179 are female.
