Grameen Trust (GT) has crossed 9,000 New Entrepreneurs in its 509th Executive Design Lab (EDL) held on March 28, 2019 at Faridpur Sadar Unit under Faridpur Anchal. The Design Lab was chaired by Mr. Shamsul Arefin, Anchal Prodhan, Faridpur Anchal. A total of twenty three proposals were presented by the potential new entrepreneurs and all the proposals were unanimously approved during the Lab.
Till March 28, 2019, GT has approved a total of 9,026 Nobin projects with the equity investment of BDT 66,33,35,000 (USD 7,991,987.95). The businesses of these projects include shopkeeping , fisheries & livestock, handicraft & cottage industry, micro business, service & transportation and Agriculture & Forestry. Among 9,026 New Entrepreneurs, 1956 are female which is 22% of the total New Entrepreneurs.
