You will have the opportunity to apply what you learned in an exercise so that you will be able to market you own story.
3. Social Business Legal Health Check facilitated by TrustLaw
Every year, TrustLaw receives and reviews hundreds of legal questions from NGOs and social enterprises around the world and connects these organisations to pro bono lawyers who provide free expert advice and assistance. Drawing on this experience, TrustLaw developed a Legal Health Check questionnaire to assist organisations to identify some of their operational legal needs. While it includes the questions most frequently asked by TrustLaw members, it is not a complete list of legal issues. The Legal Health Check will help identify legal matters that are relevant to their organisation and issues that they might need help with. Bell Athuya, a TrustLaw lawyer will guide participants through the Legal Health Check, giving practical examples of some of the main legal issues organisations should be considering.
